Liv-Ken TTC celebrates 80th birthday by raising and donating R28 000 to feed hungry children

In celebration of their 80th anniversary this year, the Livingstone-Kenilworth Table Tennis Club (Liv-Ken TTC), the oldest tennis club in Africa, selected PSFA as their humanitarian project. Spearheaded by the club’s enthusiastic chairperson, Hasie Ismail, Liv-Ken TTC managed to raise an amazing amount of R28 000.

This donation was presented to our director Petrina Pakoe at the club’s anniversary dinner, held at Belhar Sports Centre on October 28, 2017. The donation will enable PSFA to provide over 62 underprivileged learners at schools in the Grassy Park area, with two hot meals every day for an entire year!

PSFA and in particular the children on our feeding programme, hereby wish to take this opportunity to thank Hasie, the wonderful members of Liv-Ken TTC and to everyone who so generously contributed to this fundraising initiative – happy birthday Liv-Ken TTC – here’s to another 80 successful years!
